Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actress best recognized for her role as detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue, for which she was awarded the Emmy Award. Her credits comprise All My Children Philly CSI: Miami as well as Army Wives. Delaney was born the only child of her mother who was a homemaker and senior executive from her union, the United Auto Workers. Delaney lived most of her life in the company of four brothers.
